Please review the basic requirements below and you can also click on the following link to verify your computer is prepared ahead of time. Be sure to click on "Start Part II" which will join you into the test session.

Prepare your PC: http://demo.ilinc.com/systest

Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2, 2003 R2 or Vista:
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (Recommend ActiveX enabled)
• Firefox 1.5 or higher (Recommend Java installed)
• Display: 1024 X 768, 16-bit color

Apple® Mac® (runs on Intel- and PowerPC-based computers):
• Mac OS® X 10.5 (Leopard): Intel, PPC G5 or G4
• Mac OS® X 10.4 (Tiger): Intel, PPC G5, G4 or G3
• Mac OS® X 10.3.9 (Panther): PPC G5, G4 or G3
• Firefox 1.5 or higher
• Safari™ 2.0 or higher
• Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 or higher
• Display: 1024 X 768, 16-bit color

Most any computer available today will exceed these requirements. We do recommend that you use as fast a computer as is available. Additional memory will increase overall performance.

A dial-up Internet service is sufficient to participate in a live iLinc course, provided that you receive a reliable, consistent connection of at least 40-45Kbps. Broadband Internet connections via cable modem or DSL will provide the best performance.

The software required to participate in an Internet course can be downloaded from the UNH iLinc Server at no cost.
